Our client is an established international bank with a strong focus on its regional consumer banking business. The team is seeking dynamic individuals who are capable of building long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients, to grow their retail portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Identify client financial needs through a “customer needs-based profiling” and bridge their financial gaps with wealth management products from appropriate channels such as: insurance, deposits, unit trusts, mortgages etc
- Vigorously source/develop new business from referral networks both internally and externally
- Up-sell or cross-sell to existing and prospective customers through road shows, referrals, tele-consulting, bank’s in-branch activities and follow-up with appointments
- Ensure that current and prospective clients have a consistent and superior banking experience through delivery of excellent customer service
- Meet assigned revenue, balance sheet growth, referral and activity targets
- Participate in Local Area Marketing activities and maintain a database of prospects for tracking and analysis.
- Action day-to-day operational and administrative tasks as assigned by the Team Manager e.g. daily reporting, deposit processing, compliance checks, client account instructions
- Comply with established policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality and security of bank and client assets and information
- Maintain a high standard of ethics and conduct for sound banking operations, business success and the bank’s reputation
Key Skills and Experience:
- Current and/or previous experience within the finance/insurance industry
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in consumer banking sales preferred
- Proven track record in excellent Sales performance
- Good relationship management skills
- Strong business acquisition skills
- Candidates with CFMAS 1B. M5, M6, M8, M9, HI will be advantageous
- Analysis/ problem solving skills
- Service Quality assurance
- Sales ability/ persuasiveness
- Building positive working relationships
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese so as to communicate successfully with our global customers
