Our client, an integrated financial services group, offers a wide range of services to a significant clientele that includes corporations, financial institutions, high net-worth individuals and retail investors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the overall investment pipeline development to ensure that year-end targets are achieved
  2. Prepare and present detailed investment documentation (investment memos, term-sheets) for the fund’s portfolio team and other internal stakeholders
  3. Identify and lead due diligence on companies
  4. Manage existing investments – lead investment reviews and provide/facilitate strategic management support to help investees achieve their business targets and objectives
  5. Manage the overall investment management process, working closely with relationship managers to achieve their investment management objectives
  6. Participating in fundraising and communication activities to strengthen fund’s objectives
  7. Analyse and propose appropriate investment structures and vehicles to consider, specially to the group’s coveted HNWI investors

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Finance, International Development or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 plus years of experience in finance, banking, business development/strategy or related areas for private sector organization. Individuals with background in private equity/venture capital are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Very strong financial and business analysis skills as demonstrated by prior work experience
  • Strong understanding of emerging markets and its respective regulatory environments will be an advantage
  • Strong entrepreneurial instincts with particular strengths in diagnosing and resolving complex organisational and financial problems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; with the ability to present arguments and analysis in a clear and succinct manner internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with investees as well as external partners and advisors
  • Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through
