Job: Financial Controller

Our client, a top tier Asset Management business seeks to attract an outstanding individual to take charge of its finance function.

This role requires a broad range of responsibilities across the different funds within the Asset Management business, including but not limited to:

1. Financial Accounting
2. Management Accounting
3. Tax Planning
4. Coordinating audits

With your prior experience, you will also have to establish and implement short- and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Design, establish, and maintain an organisational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectives. Serve on planning and policy-making committees. Serve as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues. Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures. Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

Relevant prior experience within other Asset Management institutions will be an advantage. You will also have the opportunity to progress further within your career in the coming 2 to 3 years with a stellar performance in this role. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
