As a Client Services Representative with our clients from the financial institutions sector, you will be responsible for working with the bank’s customers once they have been successfully prospected by the bank’s respective sales teams. You will be working closely with the relevant sales / relationship managers to provide support, assistance, manage and track change requests, manage various client projects and troubleshoot and research customer issues that have been reported.
Responsibilities:
- Provide our customers with a fantastic support system along with the highest level of response and service possible
- Work with standard procedural solutions and utilise internal resources to address clients’ needs and ensure timeliness and accuracy of work
- Research and initiate corrections to transactions and/or account errors
- Provide a detailed evaluation of inquiries and rejected transactions, taking appropriate action for each item and monitoring the quality and timeliness of resolution so that it meets the bank’s standards
- Work with other internal departments when necessary to resolve discrepancies
- Fully document and forward complaint items for permanent filing
- Respond to clients’ inquiries on account documentation, account balances, account activity, statement information, general product and/or service information.
- Meet clients’ expectations and ensure deliverables are made within the given time frame
- Evaluate problems and situations to determine their importance and urgency
- Conduct research and process adjustments independently or in concert with other departments to the mutual satisfaction of the clients and the bank
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of service delivery to customers in order to guarantee customer satisfaction by accepting full accountability for an item until resolved
Key Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Preferably 2 plus years of professional experience related to account management, client services or project management
- Ability to make quick decisions, establish priorities and concentrate on detailed information sometimes under stressful conditions
- Strong reasoning skills and an aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to cooperate in a team environment is critical
- Detailed oriented; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer application skills
